Public parking for the above events is readily available and accessible either at the Weisman Art Museum Garage (for events at the Weisman) or the East River Road Garage (for the Coffman event), despite light rail construction.

This map shows access to these garages, either from 35W/University Ave via 14th Ave. S.E./East River Parkway or from 94/Huron Blvd via Fulton St. S.E./East River Parkway (the Weisman and Coffman Union are directly south of the Washington Avenue Mall near the Mississippi River).

Charles Baxter Presents Fifth Annual Hunger Relief Benefit

Baxter and other Creative Writing Program faculty will read. The event is free with suggested donation of $5 to benefit Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger relief organization.
