The Medieval Research Group, begun 15 years ago, now consists of members from several university departments, including English, History; Germanic Philology; Classical and Near Eastern Studies; French and Italian; and German, Scandanavian and Dutch. We meet twice quarterly in an informal setting to provide a friendly audience for members' works in progress, current research, or conference papers. We also hold discussions concerning pressing issues in Medieval Studies.
Meetings are held on Friday nights at members' homes and feature a sumptuous buffet as well as stimulating conversation and libations to the appropriate gods. Anyone involved in a medieval area of research is invited to attend and bring a contribution to the pot-luck. For more information contact Jennifer Young.
